25 Facts About Me

I got this idea from A Sprinkle of Glitter. {one of my favorite blogs} Feel free to do it as well. Just post 25 things about yourself. :)

1. My middle name {annette} ends with "ette" along with all of the females born on my maternal grandmother's side.

3. I have had my ears, nose, lip, & belly button pierced.

4. I have a tattoo of a treble clef on my right foot as a reminder to follow my dream.

5. I upload covers to YouTube. {feel free to subscribe}

6. My favorite vacation was my trip to Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas with my sister and pops as well as some extended family. I conveniently went less than a week after my 18th birthday. {;D}

8. I was in show choir for 5 years until my director decided to quit. It was my LIFE.

9. I've never had a real boyfriend.

11. I play guitar and a little piano.

12. I'm slightly obsessed with collecting makeup as well as putting it on others and myself. My favorite brand is mac.

13. I missed 48 days of my senior year or high school. My guidance counselor would come into my work and say "why weren't you at school today?" I even spent graduation practice at the hospital, but i'll explain that in my next fact. :P

14. I suffer from chronic resistant sinusitis . I've had 3 ENT related surgeries and seen 5+ different specialists but I've determined I'm unfixable. It sounds like a silly sickness but if you have it, you should know it's nothing short of hell.

16. I interned for a local radio station my senior year. It taught me nothing more than to stay away from being on-air.

I called in and sang "Let'R'Rip" by the Dixie Chicks and won a $20 giftcard to Munchies Emporium. I took my mom for dinner. When I went to school that day several people were saying "I heard you on the radio this morning!" My teacher demanded I sang it for the class, but I was too scared. Looking back I wish I would have. :P

my fun. weekend

     This weekend has been probably the funnest I've had in a while. No pun intended, but i'll get to that later ;) I started off the weekend going to my favorite mexican restaurant in Muncie called Puerta Vallarta's with my roommate Haley, sister Korren, and some of her friends. Despite the queso dip {my favorite} tasting like shit we had a grand ol' time. Korren's friend Emily kept spilling on herself so I put a napkin bib on her. I decided to rock one as well so she didn't feel like the only one :P

     After dinner we headed to our school's auditorium for the Fun. concert! We got our tickets back in December for only $5! It was an extremely good concert and I'm so glad we got the opportunity. We were on our feet the whole time, head-banging and whatnot. The highlight of the concert was hearing "Some Nights" live. I would consider that song the theme of my freshman year of college and being able to hear it live was incredible. Here are some photos taken at the concert:

The atmosphere of Emen's that night was so amazing.

     We went out after the concert and made some new friends. It was an incredible night!

 Saturday we woke up late, got lunch, and trekked to Fort Wayne. I was excited to show Haley my hometown and give her a tour of my humble abode for the first time. However, the main reason for our trip was the Shrine Circus. Yes, we are 18. No, we did not take any kids. No, we are no ashamed. The coliseum was packed but it was definitely worth the hour and 15 minute trip. We had a really good time! After the circus we headed back to Muncie for a night out. After being out for maybe an hour we both decided the house we were at was way too crowded, so we went home. We watched Water for Elephants in the spirit of our circus themed night and headed to bed.

     This morning we woke up, grabbed lunch, and did a full Wii Zumba class. It was an intense workout! I worked on some school stuff, got some dinner, showered, and here I lay in bed completely pooped. I had such an awesome weekend and I'm a little sad that it's coming to a close, but I'm excited for many more eventful weekends down here at BSU. Thanks for reading! xx

oh hey there.

     I've always wanted to start a blog, but my fear of publishing my awful writing skills scares me away. I know my thoughts seem jumbled when I try to convey them in an organized fashion. Sorry in advance. If anything maybe this will improve my lack of writing skills. My last few { maybe 10} attempts at blogging went completely awry and I would get fed up and delete the entire thing.  I just want to keep track of all of the memorable things that go on in my life. I'm only 18, but I feel like things that happened in earlier times are starting to fade away. This will be my way of tracking my experiences, and hopefully making a friend or two along the way. I want to post things such as my youtube covers {}, experiences, and maybe a makeup review or tutorial or two. I'm always looking for a new creative outlet. I'm excited to start this journey of blogging and hopefully some of my friends will join because I feel as though I am talking {typing} to a brick wall. More posts to come! Thanks for reading! xx
